People are important. That makes you important. As a matter of fact, Jesus said, “My command is this: love each other as I have loved you.” - John 15:12
Our goal at Bethany is to be the physical embodiment of this command of Jesus. We strive to be a community of people who love each other deeply as brothers and sisters in Christ. We believe lives flourish when we live life together. We prioritize living life together and refuse to let anyone do life alone. We would like to be the first to say, “Welcome home, we are so glad you are looking into our church family!”
We are passionate about raising up the next generation. Teaching your children about loving Jesus is the best way for us to help you. We will partner with you and your family to share the love of the Father and His word with each of your children.
We have amazing ministries for kids aged six weeks to 12 years old.
We promise a clean and safe environment where children will experience the love of Jesus while having fun at the same time.
Being in community is so important. Living life together just makes it better. We believe life should be enjoyed and so should church. We will always look for a way to celebrate in every way and bring fun to every environment . We have Ladies' groups, Men's groups and Couple's retreat.
We have several adult communities that meet on Sundays and throughout the week. We hope everyone finds a group that they feel comfortable in. Studying God's Word together allows us to grow further in our walk with Jesus. Our groups are made up of people with different life circumstances, ages, backgrounds, and beliefs. We do believe there is one that you will fit right into.
Bethany of Montclair Outreach Team
Loving on people with open arms and hearts is what we do.
Some of the different ways we help the community are laundry of love, (paying for people’s laundry at our local laundromat) Filling back packs with school supplies, buying groceries, gifts for the holidays, thanksgiving dinners for the families. We will go feed the homeless, take them blankets, jackets and socks.
Everyone is welcome to join in the outreach team and if you have new ideas on how to help people, we would love to hear your ideas!
