Leadership

Josh has been leading our church since February of 2008. His wife, Kristy, and two sons love being a part of the Bethany family. Josh graduated from Biola University with a B.A. in 1996 and Talbot School of Theology with an M.A. in 2003. He served as an associate pastor in Orange County for eight years. Josh loves a good challenging biblical question and conversation.  

Charley joined Bethany on staff in August of 2008. He began as a youth pastor, but is currently our Family Pastor. His wife, Thiam, and three children are also involved with the ministry. Charley is a graduate of Biola University with an M.A. from Azusa Pacific. Charley has such a servant's heart. He is willing to help anywhere there is a need.  

Allan stepped into the role of worship leader in 2022. He and his wife, Angelica, have both a son and a daughter. They also have a dog, but they know it isn't human. He and Angelica graduated from Azusa Pacific University. Besides his passion for worship, Allan is a big fan of sports - Dodgers, Lakers, and ... Seahawks??

Randy joined Bethany on staff as our Worship Pastor in 2000. He graduated from SOU with a Masters in Theatrical Production and Design. And His teaching credential from University of LaVerne. He also teaches full time at LOHS. His wife Liz and two children are also involved in ministry at Bethany.  

Matt joined our staff in November 2021. He graduated from Hope International University with a Bachelor's in Youth and Family Ministry, and has a minor in Biblical Studies. Matt is an avid surfer, a talented artist, and loves to play worship. He is a relational pastor who loves and invests in his students. He has a surprisingly large appetite so be sure to invite him and Mia over for dinner!  

Ashley came on staff as our Children's Ministry Lead in February 2023. She has a passion to serve the children and come alongside parents to help grow their child's faith.  

Julie joined our team  in August of 2017.  She loves Jesus, her job and being able to help grow the Kingdom!  Julie is a wife, a mom and a grandmother.
