Backpack giveaway to homeless

We want to be a blessing to those in need. Saturday, May 22nd, at 9:30 am we will meet at the church to go out and give away backpacks for the homeless. We will pack the backpacks on May 20th, at 6:30 pm. at the church. We need your help. Either by helping fill the bags, going and giving them out, or providing ome of th items needed to fill them.

Here is a list of items we have found helpful for the homeless:

Tooth brushes
Toothpaste
wash clothes
combs
soap
deodorant
packages of wipes- wet ones
socks - both men and womens socks - more men then women
3 cases of water
Pop top canned foods:
Spaghetti O's, Chunky hearty soups, stews, Pork and beans, Tuna,
Chef Boyardee Mini Ravioli, Campbell's Chunky Old Fashioned Vegetable Beef Soup, Any soup, stew, or canned pasta that is hearty.
granola bars- protein bars
